Find out why early settler and Tolstoy protégé Frank Skinner Thompson called this place “a paradise round about, a survival, a part of Eden where so far, the virgin beauty of God’s fair domain has been preserved intact”.

’Larger than life’ is often used to describe Gary Muir - his family history is as big as the region’s towering Karri Trees, his personality is as engaging as the riot of colorful (and world-famous) endemic flowers. Join Gary for a personal tour of his backyard from the tree-top walk he helped design and a unique ‘behind the scenes’ peak at wild Quokkas. Cap your journey off with a climb up the Bicentennial Tree and take a quad-bike ride through gargantuan inland dunes.
